So I was playing with my phone, basically pressing buttoms to see if I could find somthing new and this is what I discovered (I have not seen it posted here so I think Im the first one to know about this) a very complicated and time-consuming way to lock your phone LOL.

Well we all know that you can push the button on on the top left corner of the phone and/or assign a convienence key to lock your phone but did you know that if you flip the phone into landscape, show the keyboard, put the number lock on, type in your blackberry pin, and then hit enter your phone will lock isnt that amazing!!! lol I dunno just somthing I found pointless but I found it, anyone else know about this ?

Show keyboard (in landscape/full keyboard)>Num lock>Enter pin>Enter and it should lock try it again.

And if it doesnt well wait and see if more people do it and maybe its just my phone ?

Yeh it locked mine. But i entered only the numbers of my pin in. My pin is 20D38499 but i entered only the 38499 part and it locked my phone. Very cool, useless but cool

As soon as i hit the D in my pin though the Dialpad does opens up. D is for Dialpad I guess lol

No, it's the number 3 on a regular touch-tone phone. If you hit any letter, it will automatically bring up the dial pad. I have an A in my PIN. As soon as I hit A, it brings up the dial pad with the number 2 dialed.

just type one digit and click enter

a letter brings up the dialpad

Works for me... landscape>number lock>"any number">enter= Locked Storm.

So apparently you can click any number, I did not know that but once again its pretty pointless.

no numbers needed for me, just hit enter on the keyboard in landscape (.75 fwiw)
