I just got off of the phone with my Corporate Rep, he said he just got out of a meeting where they were told the lower volume stores get 5 Storms friday, and the high volume stores get 30! Anyone else heard this?
I was just at a kiosk in a mall in Milwaukee this afternoon and he said they were getting 5 Storms in tomorrow. He had the mock up, but no real one to play with
It makes total sense, they're going to sell more at the stores where people buy more. It would be silly of them to divide all the storms equally, then the lower volume stores would have extras and the higher volume stores would be turning people away. They're trying to be intelligent about where they spread out the stock so everyone has an equal chance at getting one relative to the population and demand of the area. Just my opinion As far as the demo, NO EXCUSE :P EVERY store should have at least one demo unit available I think, otherwise what the heck do the customers have to go on to make a decision!?
I just called the closest corporate store to me (only one within 80 miles) to find out what supply will be like because I don't want to get up at oh god thirty on my day off. The guy I spoke with told me they're getting 30 in tomorrow, and when I inquired about interest he told me that's all people are calling about, and "everybody" has been calling. Guess I'll be there before 7 AM after all.
