I searched and couldn't find an exact thread about this. Sorry if I missed it. As of yesterday, when I open an SMS text in portrait and then turn it to landscape, it stays in portrait. It switches fine on the home screen. I'm running leaked .75 and did a battery pull. Any other suggestions? Anyone else have this problem?

I am running official and have tried to simulate issue, was unable to come up with same result. Mine worked fine every time. hmmmm =(

I have the same problem, it started yesterday. I have the official update from OTA on the 5th. I hope someone figures it out, otherwise I might have to rely on the great help at Verizon.

I'm running official .75 OS & this same problem has happened to me but it was during browser use. In fact, I just had it lock on me while trying to go from landscape to portrait while typing this post.
This is new for me as my phone has not had a lot of the problems I've seen on the forum.

It also just started happening to me while trying to view texts, emails, and BBM. I'd be interested in finding out if anyone found a solution. The only thing I have changed recently is I added the weather bug.

I have had it randomly happen to me also. I think that while .75 (or .76 for the tech savy) have fixed the acceleromitor (sp?), there is still a ways to go. I understand there is a .8X (.85 maybe) that is being tested by Verizon now and will be released eventually. (you all know how quick verizon is at testing things - lol)
