Hey guys, well I have a question. My sister and I bought the storm the second day it came out, but received it around the 12th release date.... like most of everyone else.

Mine was perfect. Like seriously I had no problems and the worst was 1 random reset that happened once and never again.

My sisters on the other hand was crap and the updates did not help. She ordered a new one.

When she received it, well it felt better than mine... She got her new one like 2 weeks after we got ours. The biggest problem I have is that her screen just feels 500 times better than mine.... does anyone know why????

Two different builds from 2 different countries...check to see assembly date & country (either Mexico or Canada) as well as model number / build number

The newer builds seem to be reportedly better than the first builds.

Get a new one. You have until the 15th of January to do so without a problem.

Along with those model #'s they would be followed by an 001, 002, etc for build

it definitely seems like newer storms have better quality control. the launch batch (which i had 2 of) are more of a crap shoot.

when you call vzw, talk to tech support and make sure they're sending you a new replacement (full retail packaging or field replacement - doesn't matter as long as it's new).

I looked at the boxes... I honestly do not know who is whos lol but they both say 002 but one says mexico 5 and the other canada 1
