I just got my storm today and am liking it thus far. I was just wondering what I should do next. Are there certain settings i need to do. I read somewhere of putting something in the battery to help the clicking. Are there any apps I NEED to have. Any help would be great Thanks guys

P.S. Remember, I'm completely new at all this so any specifics would be awesome.

Check out the forums about upgrading your OS. It will make your phone so much better.

Look at this section and read, read, read (http://forums.crackberry.com/f135/). It's loaded with good info. Use your phone for a week or so, then you might want to consider upgrading the OS. It's not at all difficult...just read the related info about doing it first (http://forums.crackberry.com/f132/n0...source-213706/). This phone is so much faster, smoother and more stable on the latest OS (.148). The camera even works like it should. You can go staight from your current OS (.75) to the latest.

Don't do it. This phone is great and your "few weeks" wait could easily turn into 6 months to a year.

Nobody knows, but after the Storm 2, there will be another new phone about 1 year later...then another new one about 1 year later... Live your life in the present. Whenever a Storm 2 comes out, the Storm 1 is still a great phone. Do you go out and buy your current cars' new model every January?
