When I go to the manage wireless connection and I have the GSM/UMTS option, and also 1XEV and Global?

I selected the GSM/UMTS option, without a SIM in, and it went into SOS on a Simmetry Wireless tower (named TMP Corp on the phone).

Never, ever, owned an unlocked phone. I purchased the phone used.
