I plugged my Storm into my alarm clock with a mp3 jack to use my alarm clock as a speaker (it was has that function) and it was all working fine and dandy with me using Pandora. Then after I was done, I received a phone call and I noticed that instead of the "use speaker" icon it usually displays it had the "use headset" icon instead. Also, when I listen to Pandora, I can't hear anything unless I plug something in it. I think that my storm thinks that it has a headset attached to it so it won't let me use the speakers. Is there anyway I can get my speaker functions back? Or did I break it?

Have you tried a battery pull? I'm not sure what else you could do, really.

Make sure you keep it out for 30 secs - 1 minute and then try it.

If it still acts up, well, I'm hoping someone else can help you then. Good luck!

Glitch...if it recurs, plug in/unplug headset a few times.

Please do a search. I don't want to be the redundant "do a search guy," but the solution is really long.

In a nutshell, you will need to play the music through the speakers and headphone jack, unplug the jack while the music is playing, make sure the music plays through the speaker, then stop the music.

Viola, your phone calls work again.

This has been a problem since the phone came out and I've had to post this solution more times than I can count...

This is the correct fix for that, happened to my BB a few times in the past, doesn't happen anymore though, could be an OS issue maybe.
