When my BB Storm is on I touch the screen and a backlight comes on but nothing else happens,
I've tried reseting the phone all that did was make me lose all my data on my phone i.e. phone numbers, mp3's video etc.
My phone is still doing this and i'm currently doing a long battery pull and hoping that for some miracle it will work after that but I have severe doubts,
I only got my Storm just before christmas (about 2 months ago) and now this has happened,
I'm pretty devastated about it and just want it to work again lol,
I love the storm to bits,
Anyone else have similar problems??

If I try to clean the finger prints and smudges off the screen mine does the same thing..goes black, but you can see a dimlight down by the bottom keys, usually have to pull the battery to reset it....only started after .85
It was as if there was a backlight on a black screen,
I've just put the battery back in and I was about to say it seems fine but it's doing the same thing again,
the screen looks black but if you turn it you can see a backlight on,
Now its ok again lol,
I'm only new to this so not sure how to upgrade to a new OS...
