Well, I wasn't one of the lucky ones that got the Storm. However, I did get a chance to use one at the VZ store for about an hour. The more I played around with it, the more I liked it.
-Typing was easy, I actually liked the sure type in portrait mode!
-The video is awesome, (like having a hand-held plasma tv at your disposal)
-The device is pretty sturdy.
-Scrolling thru menus and web surfing performed well. I was especially pleased with the intuitve browser features.

Yes, the Storm will take some getting used to, and software updates will fix the minor annoyances, but overall I think BB created a winner.

Don't believe the naysayers!!! Plus, if you want to keep your sanity, don't read the user reviews on CNET. Most of the negative posts are from iphone and treo fans that never used the device, (just look at the dates of the posts, well before the storm was released) and can't think of anything bad, so they only harp on the fact that it has no wi-fi.

I can't wait to get mine!
