On my storm, if I lock the phone, hit the mute key and put the phone in bedside mode, when I take it out in the morning, my phone notifies me that theres a message with a sound.

I cant understand why I hear the sound when the phone is still muted.

I always use vibrate, mute only seems to work when it wants to.

Is the mute key suppose to mute the ring when the phone rings or is it just for muting music and videos?

Eh, who knows. Mute key has never worked for me.
