I have searched without finding an answer. About a week ago, I began to have issues with my phone. Whenever I receive or place a call, I am unable to her the person on the other end, but they are able to hear me. The only way to resolve the problem is by hitting the bb button and selecting either "activate handset" or "activate speakerphone." I do not recall changing any settings and have not changed my operating system in several weeks. I have also tried numerous battery pulls without any success. Any help allowing the phone to be fuctional immediately upon placing or receiving calls would be greatly appreciated.

Plug in your headset and unplug it. Your phone thinks you have a headset plugged in.

I had the exact same problem.

    Stuck in headset mode

Plug in a headset and go into media player, start any song, press the BlackBerry menu button, select 'Activate Handset', close media player and make a call.

or...plug in headset, leave it plugged in and do a battery pull, do not unplug headset until phone is finished rebooting.

If that doesn't work, take a look at this thread:
