I have a BB 9500 and when the back light times out and I press any button or the screen to light it back up, only the little side lights come on. I backed it up and did a wipe after the soft Battery thing didn't work. I then restored and after all that it does the exact same thing.
any other re-boots?? If I do another soft it will work fine as long as I keep the screen lit by doing something, just it won't light up after the backlight timer turns it off. The phone works, I can answer calls.
