Would it be wise to charge the storm up with a Moto V9m charger? Same charger used (a micro usb)

I use mine all the time. Fact is, its micro-USB, the voltage is 5.0 volts, and the current limit on the V9m charger is 500 mA. The Storm charger is the same with only a slightly higher current limit (700 mA), but that's not critical.

They both use the IEEE USB standard of 5 volts and 500 mA for power consumption. That's also why you can simply charge the Storm off any PC or Mac with a USB port.

Motorola uses a security chip in their phone batteries to verify its a Motorola charger or PC with a valid USB driver to prevent 3rd party chargers from causing problems, but RIM has not gone to that level yet.
