    just wondering what's the latest o.s i can use for my storm. i'm still on o.s 4.7 and i want to upgrade to 5.0 but i don't know if it will work for me yet.

    Same for me. Update ASAP and you will love the phone all over again! Big difference!
    Quirks: voice message speed dial became 9 and black lines in SMS message (Options > SMS Text, change Conversation Style to Stripes, preset to Bubbles).
    Works great once you have the proper service books installed.

    U need to find a code online. They are phone specific for your IMEI. I used unlocktotalk.com

    I unlocked my storm for Tmobile. I have updated with every OS and every hybrid out there. They all work.

    My co worker uses 5.0 on his storm with t mobile but is about to switch over to vzw he said the service is better
