    So just did a meterberry reset on my storm,
    And when it booted back up I got some lovely RIM pushed content!!!

    Somthing called zoompass.

    Stop pushing random crap to my phone
    Anyone else get this ?

    Just finished loading the .530 patch to ooakdpc's .497 hybrid and after a battery pull I didn't get anything new pushed... Yet. Fingers crossed...

    I thought all my pushed content was done with the 6 telus apps that I cant get rid of and yahoo/google talk now one more added to my hidden folder!

    Ohh and ICQ and AIM.

    No its from RIM, at least I think cause when I click on the icon an agreement pops up saying RIM has provided you with this link to the linked site, soley as a convenience to you.

    you carrier desides what apps get pushed as service books, the apps might be made by RIM and they do use the RIM services which is why you see that agreement

    I like the part about it being "soley as a convienence to you",

    But you would think that with all of the complaints the come from pushed content that no one wants, they just wouldnt do it.
    I mean Ive asked about it at my local telus and they say people come in all the time wanting to get rid of it.

    you agree to it evertime you sign a contract with telus, same with VZW. They have no reaso to stop. Every carrier does it so its no like you can get away from it.
