I tried running an update from the black berry site and it re-set my blackberry. is there any way to get it back to how it was b4 the update was run?

When you say that it re-set it, did it mess up your device? Did you do a backup of your information before the update? Do you have the original cd where you can uninstall DM and then install and download the original software version?

sounds like he just went back from .85 to .75 if you go to DM and run your last backup file , you will be good to go ( if your still on .85) if you are on 75 and want to go back, then just plug in DM and it will say there is an update. and then , do it.

If you updated the OS, of course it "Reset" your device...to the OS defaults. If you didn't back everything up before the update, you'll have to chalk this one up to not reading all of the instructions.
