My "Application memory" says 13.2 mb after battery pull and stays there i try to close programs and even after i still see them when i hold down the BB button like they reopen... what in the world can i do? i already have the built in memory cleaner turned on but this only recovers like 3mb

Ok, first,

Go to Options > Advanced > Applications

List EVERYTHING in that list

Also, go to Options > About

List your software OS

It will look like this:

4.7.0.xx (Platform 4.7.0.xx)

Is the phone functioning normally? If so then don't sweat it. When you hold down the BB key there should be 5 programs always showin up by default.

yes but in mine its messages, bbmessenger, homescreen, clock, contacts, phone app center, and browser. cant close any of them out...

Also, Clock and Contacts should not be running

In those apps, hit the bb button, and press close

Your phone should be running at least 30 on average

I have over 30 apps, and I'm running around 35mb

Deleting:
App Store
BB App World
Documents To Go
Password Keeper

Will add you a decent amount of app memory...

There might be a bigger problem though because that's not that many apps for so little memory

The new VZW OS is coming out today. I would upgrade to that and see what happens
