I am new to this forum and to the Blackberry world and this forum is great. I tried searching for the answer but could not find it.
I am trying to use this Desktop Manager to transfer videos to my Storm (I assume it will convert the files as necessary to play on it) but the Media Manager is greyed out. Does anyone happen to know why? I have Desktop Manager 4.7 on XP. Currently, I am just dragging and dropping to the SD card via the Windows Explorer. Thanks.
dragging and dropping is the best way to do it. and the DM wont convert videos. you need to download a seperate program for that. as for it being grayed out its still gray for me also. but you can access the device and card memory if you go to my computer and open the drives they are listed under. on my cpu it was k and h or something.
Couple of things. Your BB has to be connected to your computer for the media manager to be active. Second - if that doesn't work - try uninstalling and reinstalling your DM.
