Hoping someone can help with this.

So since I upgraded to .132 my battery has been AWFUL. It will last approx. 9 hours then DIES. It's extremely annoying.

    Here's what happened today:

Sent about 10 texts and have been on the phone for probably 30 seconds in 9 hours. I have my GPS set to 911 only, my backlight set to 10%, and I barely having any applications running in the background. And after 9 hours I'm down to one bar.

I'm going to assume that with the timing of it all it probably has to do with me upgrading my OS.

    So 2 things really:

    1. I've researched some other threads about their issues and 2 solutions is to reinstall the OS or downgrade the OS. I know how to downgrade but how does one REINSTALL a current OS???

Does anyone have a link to any tutorial on how I can do this?

Or maybe someone can help explain WHY my battery does so bad?

    2. Consistent major battery loss. Can anyone help explain what the heck is going on based on what I described above? Thanks.

Here's the log of how my battery dies over time.

    9:42 AM - 100%
    10:13 AM -8%
    10:44 AM -3%
    11:14 AM -6%
    11:45 AM -6%
    12:15 PM -6%
    12:46 PM -7%
    1:16 PM -5%
    1:47 PM -5%
    2:18 PM -6%
    2:48 PM -6%
    3:18 PM -8%
    3:49 PM -8%
    4:19 PM -5%

    Thanks!

did they just send you a new one or did you have to send yours back??

And for the poster, what APPS are running in the background? I only keep the 4 that won't close opened up (Phone, MMS, Browser, Contacts) I probably make (On a work day) 3 Phonecalls a day and up to 10 txts - Lunch time use a game maybe for a bit.. And while doing all this on .132 my battery has no problem lasting two days.

Now, if i use it ANY more than that, i do notice a pretty fast drain as well. I've also caught my phone having short 'spurts' of trying to find service. This could probably be related to the radio used in .132 - Has anyone done a writeup yet comparing the radios from all the different versions?
