I had to trade in my storm yesterday due to a broken video card and the new one has the latest Verizon-released OS. Now, anytime I hit the end key, it pulls up the dialpad and makes a REALLY LOUD beep, even if the phone is on silent. Does anyone know how to stop this? I want the end key to take me to the home menu like it used to.

Mines do the same thing...is there any way to fix this?

Only thing I can think of is changing the sound settings on the key tone in the options menu, screen/keyboard section.

Mine does the same thing, it used to take me to the home screen and now it goes to the recent calls screen and beeps. Also, the phone has been ringing and nothing is showing up on the screen and the send button does not answer it, it pulls up the recent calls screen as well.

As corny as it may sound when that happened to mine a simple battery pull resolved the issue.

Havent heard it again.

Mine does not do this. Batt Pull should be first resort.
