    Whenever I upgrade to a different OS my contacts and calander updates are all gone. How do I fix this?

    Can i just take out my SIM and media card b4 i upgrade or what?

    No media and sim card don't matter, you need to back up your phone. See the noob guide in the OS forum.

    You need to make sure that you backup the BB before you upgrade. I do that all the time and then after the OS is install I restore the backup.
