I know it has been discussed some, but I would like to see someone or RIM develop a solution to keep the home screen from rotating. Does anyone know if something is in the works?

I don't see the need for it and it becomes a pain when you pull a ringing phone out of the holster and try to see who it is and the accelerometer has kicked in.

I don't think they'll give the option to disable the accelerometer - it's a staple of what this BB is about. Maybe a 3rd party app. Don't think RIM will touch this one.

let your memory leak to around 21 MB.... accelerometer will quit all on its own.

At least it does for me.
