Ok, I want to run 230 on my 9530 but I just wanted to know if I had to/needed to add .191 first? How do you actually download the leaked OS for use on the Storm (9530)?

Sorry for this being a "newbie" question, I just normally wait for the Desktop Manager to tell me when it's time to update my OS - I check everyday.

you may wanna search in the OS forum first...

Quick hint: if you have the FULL, no need to have older OSs running (must be more that 100 mb)

if you have the first versioon (around 70mb) you need ANY OS installed to install the .230 over the existing folder

If you install the full .230, you don't need to install .230.

Click this, it is the full .230.

So I've done a lot of the OS updates without ever having problems. This is my first time ever having an issue and haven't seen a post on any forum to help. I've downloaded and installed the Full .230 OS file but App Loader has an asterisk next to the Version 5.0 option when I go in to update my device. The Asterisk is followed by this message:

"Only active Blackberry Service Subscribers are entitled to install this Blackberry Device Software upgrade."

When I try to upgrade it just doesn't do it. All I get is a link to Blackberry.com. Any ideas folks? I'm on Verizon.
