Hey everyone,

Once in awhile when I end a call or switch screens I see this lightning storm background picture... in my 9530 Storm. But when I view all pictures I cannot find it anywhere...

Anyone else seen this?

I've seen it from time to time as well. I went to the free wallpaper tab on CB.com and downloaded the wallpaper. Now it shows up as my wallpaper.

I've seen it to, but it only seems to be a small section of it when switching screens, and I can't find it on the phone anywhere either.

I get this flash very rarely when I end a call or do other actions but again very rarely.

Its a Ghost image of the Primary background image that comes with the standard Storm theme. You can see it on the Blackberry Storm Simulators. Verizon likes to mess with otherwise fine software to make it so you pay for their stuff ...Probably related ..

i have seen it too when ending a phone call, the lightning wall paper will show up instead of the buttons, but havent had it happen since .75

I have been running .75 since the release and I get this pretty often, when randomly switching screens or ending apps and so on... can be very annoying.

I installed a new theme and now the lightning pic is always background in portrait. Strange but true!

that background is the original background that RIM put on the phone before verizon got it and it was named the thunder

I have seen it with .65 and .75 however with the new leaks it seems to have gone away

I had it all the time which i dont know why... I have heard it is a error on it...
but now i have a downloaded theme and dont get it now woohoo...

It's part of the storm's theme. Verizon injected their background into the theme and never bothered to remove the original storm bg. The same bug happens when you switch wallpapers, you'll see whatever wallpaper you selected in a third of the screen for that brief period.

Same thing happens to me. As soon as I switch orientation or go from home screen to full menu, it goes away. Really annoying, but oh well.

same with mine. There was a theme i downloaded and it had two rows of icons at the bottom, but i only wanted 1 row. I went in to change it and the lighting became my background.
