When I want to send an SMS message, I click on the messages button, compose then SMS. The blank message comes up as does the keyboard. I start to type the name of the contact I want to send the message to and the list comes up. I click on the name I want and a list of details held for that contact appears.

Before I can click on "mobile", the keyboard comes up again and covers the details and I have to swipe the keyboard down to get at the details.

Is there any way of setting the default number for sending an SMS message to a contact, or preventing the keyboard coming up and hiding the details?

Hmm...my contact details appear over keyboard. I never swipe keys up or down.

Try battery pull.

Tried that, still does it. It's a real pain.

Just downloaded the latest software, 4.7.0.141, and it's completely sorted the problem! It must have been a bug in the earlier software.
