Is there anyway to turn on Javascript on the BB Storm when I'm browsing the internet?

When the browser is open go to Options -> Browser Configuration. Support Javascript.

I also had to do that on my storm to get evernote working. It's a nice, free app that I like so far. Does anyone know why javascript is disabled by default? Are there any risks to enabling it permanently? I assume you may be more vulnerable to malicious code, but is that a concern?
