Hello all,

I know with all the other BBs, you can activate/search for a contact by typing directly on the keyboard. Since the storm has only a virtual keyboard, is there a fast way to mimick this functionality.

The best I thought of so far is to assign the contact/address book to one of the convenience key, then swipe the bottom of screen to display the keyboard, and then search for the name

Is there a better/faster way?

set the phone options so when you press the green send key it displays contacts. scroll to the contact you want or click in the search field and type a name.

If you hold the green talk button it goes to your contacts. I believe this is by default and doesn't need to be setup this way.
