to all the people wondering where the OS update is, just ask yourself this.


Are you at work yet? If you are, have you started working yet? If you have, have you made sure all the kinks and bugs are out of a worldwide software update for a highly anticipated phone?

If the answer is no, chances are it's probably the same for RIM.

All I can say is I had an 8830 for 2 years, it was never updated, I had to do an end around VZW to d/l 4.5 just to get html email. I will patiently wait for this one, thanks for the advice, now where are the coffee and donuts you speak of?

I agree with cadsystems. I also own an 8830 which still operates with the same OS it came with 1.5 years ago as my carrier won't make 4.5 available.

I am hoping that when Telus releases the storm (hopefully sometime this year but doubtful with all the delays VZW is having) that it ships with a solid OS otherwise I won't purchase it. Because all indications are that is the OS I will be stuck with forever.
