Hi everybody! I got to use the storm today. I was at the dentist today paying my bill and I saw a lady with a storm I talked to her. She works for VZW. The keyboard was hard to use. You have to hold a key down for around 3-5 seconds before a response. I only got 10 mins but it was worth it. The screen was huge high quality. PM if you have any questions.
sorry but i call bs , you can very clearly see in all videos you dont have to wait that long ... maby you should try moving your finger quicker ......... or did you not know you have to physically lift your finger for the response to register ... lol
I hate to tell someone they don't know what they're talking about, but this is the case. You DO NOT have to hold down anything for 3-5 seconds to get a response. I know this because I've used it. The rest of you know it from the videos you've all seen.
Wow, even if it is true that it was 3-5 sec for a response when you played with the Storm, there is NO WAY Verizon will release a phone that will operate like that.
Thanks for the post, but I don't think this will apply when it is released (whenever the heck that will be.)

Its not 3-5 seconds. Its less than a second.
The Storm is no Bold keyboard. That keyboard flies. But the Storm touchscreen keyboard is A LOT better than the Apple keyboard. And the SureType on the Storm is fantastic. Much better than the 7100 and the Pearl, very comparable to the KickStart but the buttons are much bigger and of course its touchscreen.
Interestingly, none of the videos indicated the 3-5 seconds, not even the bad review videos. And it's interesting that this is coming from an AT&T user who wants the Bold. Does anyone else smell what I'm smelling from the OP?
Maybe the person who had the Storm had like every application running in the background or something? Doesn't sound likely though. Could have required a reboot.
