To receive a Storm without a "second" sticker on the box platform .82 and not a lick of problems with anything.......

I'm in the same boat as you apparently. I have had a hiccup or two but overall no issues to speak of. I've been very happy with my Storm.

On the box where the upc is some had a second sticker applied after the platform was updated apparently some units still went out with .76 platform

I also only had one sticker and my box was sealed. Other than the lag issue mine has been fine.

no second sticker it was only a small batch that had the misprint .. no need to feel special.

Yeah. My box was also unsealed and I saw a video unboxing where the person also appeared puzzled with his box being unsealed. Wonder what the deal is with that.

Any one else have their box unsealed?

yea mine came unsealed with sim and sd card installed. i was wondering about that.

i work in an office with about 50 other corporate suits. most of them are iPhone lovers, but there's a handful of us Blackberry people. nonetheless, about 30 of them all wanted to check out and play with the my Storm. on top of that, i've been playing with it almost constantly since saturday morning. not a single problem yet.
