I recently got this 9530, started flashing it to Metropcs, but got stuck on how to load Service Books. I've done this many times on the (8330,8350) models, by going into the service book option: hold ALT, press SBEB. Legacy SB Restore Enabled OK appears, then i'm able to use dm to load books.
With this phone theres no ALT tab and when i use the dm it says books are restored but the box is empty. Help!
I used the blackberry desk top manager to do this. Save sevice books in a folder on desktop open manager and click on restore, change folder to the one you saved service books into and restore phone, but you must first put into legacy mode. You dont have to hold alt you hit !?123 button then the 4 then !?123 then ? and so on till the code is enter and it will say legacy service mode
