Not to be a smart a**, however it will take as long as it takes. You aren't providing a piece of information and that is, are you charging from a wall plug or via usb from a PC/Laptop. Wall plug will charge the fastest and you are talking a few hours. PC/Laptop charging using the usb will take even longer.

with .75 loaded on it? Take two beers and call us in the morning.

.75 had an interesting quirk of sometimes taking 10+ hours to get to 100% at times.

I notice when I first got my Storm that the green/redish flashy light kept on going after 6 hours. I was told it only takes about 3hrs to fully charge this phone so I got curious and decided to pull the phone off the charger and pull the battery, then insert it again and then put the phone back on the charger. For some reason after about 10min the flashy light turned solid green. I think its a bug within the phone possibly software or hardware but on my second Storm it just got finished charging after about 3 1/2 hrs. Just figured I would voice what I have encountered.

the first charge will always take longer, because the battery is not used to it. They suggest 12-16 hours the first time.

If you just got it. It's recommended to charge it for 12 hours. You should stick to this IMO.

Even though lithium-ion batteries do not hold a memory like the batteries of old. The same practices seem to hold true. On first use, charge it at least 10-12 hours. Let it charge 100%. Then once a week or so, let it discharge totally (for a Storm, it will shut off the radio then eventually shut off). Once completely drained, charge to 100%. Then repeat. I have two batteries that I cycle through this technique every two or three weeks and I usually get two or three days out of a charge religiously (depending on usage and signal strength).
