    Login to the BIS site from your carrier. Verizon's site is www.blackberry.com/go/vzw

    On the left-hand side of the page, click Help. You should then see a Send Service Books button in the middle of the screen.

    You can also do it from your BlackBerry.

    Look for the Email Settings icon.

    Go to your carriers BIS site and click on create new user. Then just follow the step by step instructions.

    Check out the BlackBerry 101 How-To Lecture Series ! This will help you with the basics such as downloading apps, themes, wallpaper, ringtones. It's also a good idea to browse the forums and read as much as possible. Many questions you have are answered there already!
