Just wondering how everybody holds their Storm, I personally use it in portrait mode at all times.

i hold mine in landscape at all times but i guess upside down. because i have to flip it over to watch movies. but im trying to use it on the right side now because ive noticed its started getting very tight right on top of the buttons from using it upside down

Portrait when in menus or reading emails or messages. Anything that requires typing or browsing i go directly to landscape.

Someone posted a tip yesterday or the day before on how to hold the device so that you can type easier. I've been using their advice and it really helps me to type faster when using the device while in landscape mode. Definitely not as frustrating as it used to be.

Yeah I saw that tip black. it is an interesting way to hold your Storm. I tried it just because I was interested and I could see how it could help. I just can't see myself typing like that all the time especially in public.

Landscape for both browsing and texting. Being right-handed has something to do with it, I guess.

Portrait most of the time, I prefer the sure type as i can type faster and more accurately on it.
Landscape when I have to input passwords or things sure type won't recognize and of course while watching movies!

When I first got the phone, I used mostly landscape. But then after everyone was raving about suretype, I started using it in portrait and never looked back. I type so much faster that way!

Portrait all the time except when typing a word that SureType doesn't know in which case I switch to landscape and type the word in then switch back to portrait.

I use portrait as much as possible. It's one handed and everything looks great. When I need to type a URL I flip to landscape (because .90 is cool like that)

Complete mix. When I first got it, I was anticipating using the full qwerty in landscape. The SureType keyboard, however, has proven to be far easier to get used to.

Sometimes I use landscape simply because I hate battling against the predictive text, but the SureType is so fast, I find I'll switch to that, because it feels right with the old crooked thumbs approach.

landscape for anything that requires typing usually. If it's a quick typing job, portrait.
browser...def landscape! More natural.

Being right handed I hold it with the buttons to the right in landscape since my thumb is right there. Especially with opera mini and bolt to pull up the menus easily. I have done it to the left but always catch myself trying to use my right thumb when there is nothing over there.
