on the blackberry cd that came with it, there's a place under "applications" that has available updates...will that give me all the latest stuff or do i need to go to a different place?
Once you plug it in and run desktop manager it checks if there are any updates for your phone through your carrier. If another carrier gets a more up to date firmware you can use it but you would have to download it and install it.
