I like using my storm in nightstand mode but it is much to bright . Any way to dim the light?

Note: Backlight brightness varies w/device & OS i've found.

backlight brightness definately varies....i held my device next to my friends, both at 100 brightness and i damn near went blind from my friend's phone....

there are hardware flaws, like the bulb or light source or whatever you wanna call it, etc...they impact the brightness.

Make sure you hit the BB button and select "enter bedside mode" when you place the phone on the cradle/charger.
