    Is there anyway to change the alert noise for when your phone recieves a SMS text to a custom MP3 file?

    Go into any message folder (sms, message, email..whatever), press the BB Menu button and select Message Alerts. You can customize from there.

    Oh, forgot to mention that the mp3 needs to be in your ringtones folder either on your media card or device memory.
