i have read all over that having the sim card is unneccesary and gets rid of the SIM card rejected error message...however, i dont really know how i can get it out...it seems pretty secure under that metal casing...help please?
There should be a little tab on the side you pull out. I used needle nose to pull out the sim card from that tab. Don't pull to hard you might tear off the tab which I did once.
You can use an screwdriver and hammer. Use it hard.
Also I provide a SIM Card removal service for $79.99.
Just kidding, the pensil eraser is the best way.

I hear that the hammer and screwdriver trick to the camera lens makes it faster also
on a 9650 Bold you need to lift up the corner that's cut off to get it over a small ridge, then it sides right out. I just turned mine over and slide it back as to disengage it from the circuit and store it.
