HELP! What do I return?
- .Don't be like the moron down below
Actually you nimrod,
2nd, your logic is so blatantly moronic you may be mentally impaired.
Your grammar stinks so bad I can't smell my own farts right now!
so open up a nice can of STFU and have a seat over there, k?
If we were to go by your logic I would have the legal and moral authority to punch you in the face because I read your post and suffered a seizure trying to comprehend your drivel, so rather than sue you, I'd just 5finger smack the mercury from out your fillings for being so dismally stupid.
Whoa, dude, there's no need for that kind of attitude about it. Now take a deep breath and show us on the doll where he touched you.01-19-09 10:51 PMLike 0 - Just picturing some of the people in this thread up at 3AM obsessed with their screen clicking not just right in the lower right hand corner....01-19-09 10:56 PMLike 0
- Another quick question. I am going to return all my original Storm accessories (that I've used) and put them back in the original box right? I cut the white label on the outer original box to get the rebate. I just want to make sure I just send back my original Storm in it's original box with all it's original accessories. In essence it would be like I never got my original Storm, right?01-20-09 11:20 AMLike 0
- I kept all the "extras" no problems no issues. do what you want but I enjoy a extra battery and 8gig card.01-20-09 12:04 PMLike 0
- I replaced my storm. I also know a friend who had theirs replaced also. The shipping box contains a completely brand new Storm *in BlackBerry box*, the shipping receipt AND a "Verizon Device Exchange Program" brochure. It helps to read that! It has three steps outlined. 1.Save Personal Info... 2.Activate and transfer info... 3.Return your defective device.
It's literally as easy as 1-2-3. The instructions specifically tell you to RETURN only the device and keep all of YOUR accesories and return everything else. It does not say "Keep all of your accesories, and the duplicate set that was sent to you."
If you only wanted the phone, then you should have gotten a refurb. But I dont think you would have liked that. Personally I can't believe Verizon puts so must trust in people. Then again, they are probably hoping people keep all the extras so they in return can bill you and take more of your money. (Yes I am a verizon user.)01-20-09 01:10 PMLike 0 -

Just don't post up ANY personal info.
I'll report you to VZN myself and watch your bill ascend into a $499 price!
Seriously, you know you are a genuine POS right?
I mean what entitles you to free accessories? Your off center mentality?01-20-09 01:48 PMLike 0 - LOL. Thats hilarious. I received a new replacement today i was told it would be like new orrefurb whatever you wanna call it. It was new and I was like well I will just exchange the phone out and send the rest back.01-20-09 07:05 PMLike 0
- I got the mail-in rebate just fine man. I actually sent two of them in at different times and received them today no problem. I don't mind waiting 2 weeks to get them at all.01-20-09 07:27 PMLike 0
- Storm #1, click issue. Mailed a new phone in brown box with only the phone. Sent only 1st phone back in box.
Storm #2, dust under screen after three weeks. Sent a refurb phone only which was malfunctioning upon intial startup. Packaged up Storm #2 and sent back phone only in fedex box.
Storm #3 taken immediately the next day (today) into store and was given a brand new storm with all accessories included (SD card, BATTERY, charger, and even battery door) sans SIM card which they kept in the refurb.
The tech rep told me just to keep it al. Nothing else said. I even asked multiple times if i should give them the other battery, card, etc. and "Tina" at the store told me to keep it.
That's my experience. Do what you want. But Verizon only wants the phone back for replacements. Bottom line. If you get accessories and the whole lot, keep them, if not, oh well. It's not stealing if they're openly telling customers to keep them.
YMMV. Best of Luck.01-20-09 10:37 PMLike 0 - The tech rep told me just to keep it al. Nothing else said. I even asked multiple times if i should give them the other battery, card, etc. and "Tina" at the store told me to keep it.

However, when the OP comes on here in a couple of months stating he/she was billed for the accessories, how many of you will come out of pocket to help him pay his bill? Instead, I see a lot of "oh man, that sucks" and "you were robbed" coming from the same people who are encouraging you to do an underhanded five finger dicount sort of thing. Heaven forbid any of you have children who listen to you bragging about how you got over on corporate America, the future is looking brighter and brighter.01-21-09 09:12 AMLike 0 - I hope that "Tina" is still working when you get the bill for items that weren't returned. If you have a sense of entitlement because of your supposed greviance, then do what you feel is right.

They opened a new storm box, everything included, to give me the phone and the process of trying to repackage the accessories and the sd card w/o a case, etc is obviously not worth the hastle.
I had no "SENSE OF ENTITLEMENT" i asked to give it BACK! they specifically said there is nothing we can do with those. Keep them.
And thanks for the billing comment b/c i just hit my cycle and paid it yesterday at the store where i returned the phone. So NO I DID NOT get charged for the accessories. My account is zero, zilch, nada and i made sure of it before i walked out with the extra items. Thanks, but quit trying to parent other people's morals/ethics.
I'm a very upstanding citizen of society who has a great job and i volunteer in my community. See i can toot my own horn too!01-21-09 02:06 PMLike 0 - I got my Storm on the first day... I was 2nd in line at the circuit city here.
I started getting dust under the screen on Jan 10, and took the phone in to the store on Jan 15 to get a replacement. They shipped me a brand new box with no return instructions and no return packing slip.
Yes, I know I should return everything based on common sense alone, but to be fair to all the others with questions, Verizon really doesn't make it clear how this should be done anywhere.
I'm actually going to take the whole box (with the old phone) back to the Verizon store and just drop it off there. They can deal with it.01-21-09 02:38 PMLike 0 - OK a friend i work with ahs the storm also and his is also defective . he got the replacment and wasnt sure what to send back so he called verizon they actually told him to just send back the defective phone and to keep the accesories ..01-21-09 03:02 PMLike 0
