I can't get to text messages every time I click on icon I get this error message "Uncaught exception java.lang.null pointer exception" Any ideas or suggestions?

Did you make any software changes to the phone prier to seeing this message? Either adding new or removing software? Did you make any changes at all prier to seeing this mesasge?

nothing i was sending and receiveing text messages regularly this morning I went into settings and told it to show text messages in the main message folder and not same error message on email folder as well.

I'm wordering if something in the OS got hosed. If this was my phone I would first try an OS reload.

great thanks man! I was afraid of that especially since I'm not at home or near. Should have stuck with my Tour it didn't give me any issues just wanted the big screen lol. This will be a fun day being disconnected all day
