To keep the story short, I deleted an aol email address off my Storm and now I can't add it back on.

When I go into email set up and try to add it I get a message that says "update failed".

Things I have tried ..

- verified password and address by logging on to aol
- sent "register now"
- sent service books
- did batt pull

have done this several times.. with the same results.

I tried logging on to blackberry.com, but I could not remember my password. 3 times it was sent to my device, but I didn't receive it. How is it sent? Email? Text?

any ideas?

Clear browser cache. Also, run email setup app and then hit Menu/Create Username. Then use that info on the BIS website and try setting up the email via that.
