I cannot get .75 to install. I have tried 4 times and cannot get it to work. Everything is fine until I get to the "Uploading RAM image" screen while installing. The progress bar completes this and then it just sits there... left it over night last night and checked my computer this morning to see the same "fatal error" message.

I have tried re-downloading the update file. I even uninstalled everything except DM and rebooted my computer, re-installed the update and tried again... same problem over and over.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks guys and gals.

    Try reinstalling DM

    reinstall DM, and re-download .75
back up your contacts first just to be safe
then try to run .75's update
if that doesn't work, maybe try wiping your phone first, maybe you have some software installed on it causing the problem? but again, make sure you back up what you need first before doing a wipe

    ok...I solved my problem...

this is what I think I was doing wrong...

I had installed DM from the CD that came with the phone...
I then installed the 0.75 exe...
    I ran the old DM...
it found the new os and began to install (or at least it seemed that way)....
after hours it was just stuck on "uploading ram image..."...
...I unplugged the phone rebooted and nothing was changed....

so I booted into XP (where I had no software installed)...
ran 0.75 exe and installed only that....
ran it (completely different interface...old school)...
went through everything in about 20 minutes no problems....

My wife has a phone so I'm gonna try again in Vista but this time uninstall all DM software and only install that 0.75 exe...

I will let you all know if that was indeed the problem.

thanks for all the responses though.
