Hey guys.. just wanted to say whats up! I gave up my AT&T Apple Iphone 3GS in August and moved on to a Verizon Blackberry Storm 9530. I have lurked the forums for a while and just recently registered and decided to post. I look forward to learning more about my phone.. and share my experiences with you. Take care and best of luck to you all! ~ CJ

I am actually thinking about to jump ship to iPhone. The only thing stoping me is AT&T. I just don't like AT&T.

    Why did you jump ship?

LOL.. i jumped ship because I was tired of being with AT&T. My phone worked everywhere except for home... since I run a business from home i couldn't deal with it anymore. I also like the fact that i can sync my godaddy and gmail accounts to the storm, makes me more productive

I get the AT&T thing. I am with you on that.

I updated my niece's iPod Touch OS 3.1 and it syncs fine with Gmail. It should sync fine with Godaddy.

Welcome. Well Verizon has the "most reliable 3G network" ( note the quotations.) So I hope you enjoy the ride. You should of waited though, the Storm 2 (Odin) is expected to be released the end of this month.

thanks guys! After a little over 2 months im a very happy with the Storm. I have heard about the "storm 2" and will have no problem adding another line to get a good price on the next one if it really performs better I am running the "most current" os according to Verizon which I believe is .181. Should I be running one of these "leaked" versions? I am more than satisfied with the device the only issue i have had is the blackberry button always brings up the running apps instead of the menu i am trying to access

The most currant "official" OS from Verizon .148. Many of Storm uses use a leaked OS. I would recommend installing one.
