Since the one person who updated already went to bed, I was wondering if anyone else has updated to .75 yet? How did you do it? OTA or DM

hey, I didn't actually get the upgrade because it said an error occurred. All I had to do though was plug into my computer and open the desktop manager, it informed me there was an update available and I went from there. I don't know what the error was but I'm pissed because it took forever to download on the slow internet I'm on

no, there was a list of applications and everything that would be installed and it didn't include vcast. It was just everything I had on it already

I have checked DM, no luck, and the wireless upgrade option finally popped up with vcast on my phone. Still no luck with OTA. I am happy to wait for a faster more solid OS.

RIM site says there's an update, DM says there isn't. I'm going to try the update off the RIM site and get back to you

I click that link then my application loader says a fatal error has occurred please try again

Update: RIM site update was still 4.7.0.65// Platform 4.7.0.82
All it really did is get rid of all my settings. Fail.

I just went through the upgrade options at RIM's site. When it got done updating the application center the only 2 options to upgrade for me were:

Blackberry 4.7 Core Applications Version 4.7
Help Version 4.7.0


So it looks like there is no update at the moment.

Yeah, should have paid more attention to what I was updating Ah well, a quick restore and everything is back in order.

Just checked with my contact at VZW... He said that their internal tech support site has not changed to reflect any updates. Doesn't mean that there is no update, just that it may not be in full release yet (like everyone else has been saying). Sorry, I know it's not new information, but it does confirm what everyone is saying.

Wow. It killed my browser icon too. I had to hard and soft reboot to get it back. Seriously, Fail.
