    So after going through 3 storms since January and then yelling at verizon customer service and tech support for about an hour, I got them to send me a storm 2 for free......I then did it again and got another one for my wife. So two storm 2's for an hours worth of work not to bad.

    Oh here are the rules I learned by the way.

    1. Go through 3 storms in a 90 day period.
    2. Call the customer service line, (stores apparently cant authorize the switch)
    3. Tell them you have done everything possible tech support wise to make it work memory cleaning, backing up, battery pulling, and you only have one or two apps.
    4. Tell them you are sick of them sending you the same phone that simply doesnt work.
    5. Keep pushing and possibly threaten to leave
    6. Agree to accept the Storm 2 even though it doesnt have a battery door (both the ones I got had them, what luck i guess)

    If they dont do it the first go around, hang up and call again.
