    Hi,

Brand new to the Blackberry world, so please don't bite. Bought a Storm 9530 a little over two weeks ago, just upgraded to .103 two nights ago. Assuming reverting back doesn't fix the problem I've been having (posted about that on the OS findings thread), did I just void the warranty by upgrading to a leaked version? How would I go about getting a replacement phone? Call Verizon or RIMM or the insurance company or what?

    Thanks.

Why would you need a replacement?

Ok, the first question is why do you need the replacement. If it is an issue with how the phone functions, you can roll it back to OS .75 and either call or take it in to Verizon. If you did something to your phone like spilled water or broke it somehow, then that is an insurance issue.

Also, you will probably never need to contact RIM. Phone problmes are always handled through your carrier.

Just found out it's a hardware issue. So I definitely need to roll it back to .75 before I can take it into Verizon?
