Does the $50 Mail-in-Rebate work if you're paying full retail?
On the same topic, any updates to what the full retail price will be? Do you think Verizon will sell it at the $599 that Best Buy has listed on their website?
No, usually rebates do not apply to products that are being paid in full retail.
Good speculation suggest $499.
Reasons
1 - Storm Hunt Contest APV of $50 Gift Card and Storm = $549
2 - Bold on ATT is $549 Full Retail
3 - Best Buy inflates prices, Bold = $649. As well as others.
4 - Judging from pattern and evidence, we conclude a $499 Retail price tag. =)
Rebates are not good on full retail. The receipt will print out with "NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REBATE" on the top. Having said this, you can always send it in anyway. It will usually still go through, and the worst that can happen is you don't get your rebate.
