    So I wiped my storm out using the JL commander to go back to .75 (from .85) that completed successfully. Then I went to reinstall the software using the desktop manager and it took a lot longer then it did in the past using the .75 install from the verizon website. So I let it finish overnight needless to say when I looked at it in the morning the desktop manager showed a fatal error occurred and to try again. I have tried again, the PIN shows up PIN:UNKOWN, I get 2 fast blinking LEDS and a pause and then repeat no screen at all. I tried the suggestion using the loader.exe and it gets to "load JVM and system software" but just sits for hours.

    Any help? or should I visit my friendly verizon store for a tech?

    Try wiping again and then reload via loader.exe
