I am sure that there is a thread already on this, but I have been going through tips and tricks threads here for hours. My battery is only lasting about 12 hours before it is dead in the water. What are the settings for helping milk the battery life? I realize that it depends a great deal on how you use the phone. I have deleted VZNavigator. Disabled the GPS except 911. I keep the bluetooth earpiece disconnected when not in use. What else can I do aside from modifying usage?

Also, what is the best extended battery for the Storm that doesn't require a new door?

Keep your Mobile Network (in options) set to 1XEV and I keep my screen at brightness at 70, though many go lower.

The Storm is my first actual Smartphone and I have only had it for less than a week so I haven't learned how to abuse it properly yet

If you use weatherbug remove it. It is a bit of memory hog.

Having a holster with the sleep functions help a lot.

Also reducing the brightness of the screen also helps.

Thanks. It was an uncommon enough phrase that a search produced them. "Battery" yielded many more results with none answering the question. lol So far I have followed the advice except for the hybrid update. I may try that when I have more time to really go through the procedure.
