Hi, something strange just started happening today. I had a missed call and tried to call the person back just as they were calling me, resulting in the beep tone. Anyway, the phone crashed so I pulled the battery.

Upon restarting the email icon had disappeared from the desktop shortcuts and is nowhere to be found.

I have 2 arror messages

uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointerException

and

uncaught exception: Application net_rim_bis_client (164) is not responding; process terminated


Any ideas anyone? How can I hard reset? Or do I need to re-install the OS (running Verion .75)

Any help appreciated. Going out of my mind.

Just a general suggestion: ever tried going to RIM's knowledge base and searching?
If you go to the RIM site and type in your model number and error code see what comes up. That's what techs do when you call.
